BRAND RESEARCH AND POSITIONING

Brand Building and Management

Decide what your brand stands on with evidence, not taste.

We treat brand work as research and production, not decoration. First we measure who chooses you, why, and against which alternative. Then we write the positioning on top of that finding, produce the brand's digital assets, and keep measuring over time.

A handsome file, three unanswered questions.

Most brand projects end with a logo and a tagline. You are left with a handsome file and three unanswered questions:

  • Which alternative does your customer compare you against, and what do they look at when deciding?
  • Is the sentence you say the sentence that works at that moment of decision?
  • Six months from now, how will you know anything has changed?

These are measurement questions, not design questions. That is where we start.

What changes is not the chain but the field it is applied to.

Our five-link working chain holds in brand work too.

One contract, one team. Each item can also be taken separately.

Every item is tied to a concrete deliverable.

Timing, format and responsibility are settled at proposal stage.

01

Brand pre-assessment

A quick picture of where you stand. You fill in the form and name three competitors with a note on why you chose each; our team prepares the report.

Output: assessment report, priority list

Add-on: competitor pre-analysis (priced separately)

02

Positioning research

Who your audience is, what drives their purchase decision, which alternatives they weigh you against. Quantitative survey, in-depth interviews, or both.

Output: methodology note, raw data set, positioning framework

03

Message architecture

Turning the research finding into sentences. Core promise, supporting messages, objection responses, tone rules.

Output: message matrix, tone guide, copy templates

04

Name and brand language

Name options, domain and availability checks, written rules for how the brand speaks.

Output: name candidates with rationale, availability report, brand language guide

05

Multilingual brand adaptation

The brand saying the same thing in another language. Not translation; rebuilding.

Output: language files, terminology glossary, verification record

06

Digital assets

Website, content templates, sales and email copy, social channel message set.

Output: live site, template set, source files

07

Brand health measurement

Regular measurement of where the brand stands over time. Awareness, association, reason for preference, competitor comparison.

Output: indicator framework, periodic tracking panel, quarterly report

Four tiers, as a starting point for the need.

01

Pre-assessment

Item 01 only. A low-fee entry point. If you decide to continue, the fee is deducted from the next tier.

02

Brand Foundation

01 + 02 + 03. What the brand rests on and what it says, put in writing.

Typical duration: 4–6 weeks
03

Brand System

Foundation + 04 + 05 + 06. A brand that can say what it says everywhere.

Typical duration: 8–12 weeks
04

Brand Management

Ongoing monthly work: content production, multilingual adaptation, periodic measurement under 07, and competitor tracking.

Minimum commitment: 6 months

We write this up front, because a project that starts on the wrong expectation does not end well.

We write this up front, because a project that starts on the wrong expectation does not end well.

  • Visual identity design. Logo, corporate identity and packaging design are not our work. Where a project needs them we work with a partner designer and say so explicitly in the proposal. We write the brand language guide; we are not the party that designs the visual identity.
  • Advertising media buying. We do not offer campaign planning or media buying.
  • Social media account management. We produce the content and message set; we do not take on day-to-day account operation.
  • Guaranteed outcomes. Research produces evidence about what is likely to work, not a guarantee. If you choose a path our findings do not support, we will say so.

A clear flow from brief to periodic measurement.

01

Brief and pre-assessment

You fill in the form, we prepare the report. No commitment at this stage.

02

Scope and proposal

Which items are included, who will work on them, which deliverable arrives when. The people working on your project are named in the proposal.

03

Research

Data is collected. The methodology note and raw data set are delivered to you; the data is yours.

04

Positioning and production

Findings become a framework, the framework becomes sentences, the sentences become digital assets.

05

Measurement

On the Brand Management tier, periodic measurement begins and comparative reporting follows.

What to know before you decide.

Can we skip the research and go straight to positioning?

We can, but then the positioning rests on our opinion rather than on evidence. If you prefer that, we state it plainly in the proposal; we will not present it afterwards as research-based.

We are a small business and have no research budget.

That is exactly what the Pre-assessment tier is for. You see where you stand and where your competitors sit without commissioning research, then decide whether to go further.

Who keeps our data?

You do. The raw data set and methodology note are delivered to you. Consent chains and KVKK and GDPR compliance are a standard part of our research processes.

We already have a brand and do not want to start over.

Most projects are like that. Positioning research measures where the existing brand stands; what is worth keeping is a finding too.

We are expanding abroad. Will the brand hold in that market?

That is a research question, and one we can answer. Our multilingual adaptation item exists for exactly this: not translation, but rebuilding in the target market.

Tell us about your brand

Fill in the pre-assessment form and let us draw a picture of where you stand and where your competitors sit. If you decide to go further, we deduct the fee from the next stage.
